There is a lot of stuff going on with my kids' school. The school is so corrupt and uncaring. They hide stuff. They do bad things to the kids. I have been on the phone all morning trying to get them out of that school and my options for public school are limited. I can send them to a school with equally bad scores and reviews, it seems. Oh joy. Not. The one good school in the district is full to the max and is not accepting any more zone waivers because they have a waiting list of waivers alone. Speaks volumes of the school district, eh?
I don't know what to do. I am praying every day about this.

What a day
I woke up at 5 AM to my youngest son doing a stand up impersonation of a seal. Poor baby. This seems to happen to him a lot. He wasn't doing all that well, then after time in a steamy shower and outside, he was all better. He is fine right now. His voice isn't even hoarse anymore.
So we were going along and having a better day when my second son runs through the house and trips and hits his mouth on a wooden stool. Thank goodness mouth injuries are usually worse than they look. I got him cleaned up and applied ice and he is doing well now. I was worried he might need stitches for a bit because it looked like a deep "L" shape, but it stopped bleeding very quickly and looks OK. If it does by chance scar, it won't show much.
The kids are W-I-L-D today and won't listen to me. I was staying in because of my youngest having croup, but maybe a trip to just our back yard is in order. It's warm out today.

The great Potty Training Escapade
I thought I was so slick this afternoon as I pulled away (ALL BY MYSELF! KID FREE!) to go to get some groceries. The Hubby called telling me to come get my youngest because he was standing there with wet pants and Under-Roos saying "Wet, wet." I told the Hubby to tell the boy to get some clean pants and Undies and I gleefully drove on.
The Hubby got his payback two fold. Two really nasty accidents followed which I had the great honor to handle and deal with. Ick, ick, ick. These were my poor kiddos first "icky" accidents. I don't know if it is Daddy being around or what. Threw him way off. This afternoon he had some problems realizing when he was actually finished, so we had some issues that required me to disenfect two entire bathrooms and bathe the child, but tonight's accidents were way worse. I just can't deal with icky underwear. Put it on the floor, smear it on the walls. But don't put it in underwear. Ick, ick, ick.
I'm so ready to be off this ride and have all four kids potty trained! I've introduced the older children to Lysol wipes and showed them how to clean up any results of poor aiming. So life is good in that respect. Now just to get my youngest to stop letting out one little poopie and then running to me and glee. Sit and finish, little boy!
Overall he is doing pretty well. He just doesn't understand that there are usually a couple friends hanging out with that first little poopie that he needs to let out of the tushy door, too.
I'll leave you with any icky visuals. I don't want them anymore.
